What we actually do
S-series phones stack wide, ultra-wide and telephoto in one housing — we test each against a chart to identify exactly which sensor has failed rather than replacing the whole housing on a guess.
Cracked lens glass with a working sensor underneath is quoted as a lens-only fix where the design allows it, cheaper than a full module.
After fitting we test autofocus, OIS (where fitted) and the flash before handing the phone back.
