iPad screen replacement
iPad screen and digitiser replacement on Whitton High Street — all generations, glass-only and full-assembly options. From £69, 3-month warranty.
What the fault looks like
- —Cracked glass but the picture is fine — a digitiser-only job on most iPads
- —Cracked glass with lines, blotches or no picture — glass and LCD both
- —Touch dead in a band across the screen
- —Corner bent from a drop, glass lifting
What we actually do
On standard iPads the glass (digitiser) and the LCD are separate parts — a crack with a good picture is the cheaper repair. On Air and Pro models they are laminated together and replaced as one assembly. We tell you which yours is before quoting.
The broken glass is lifted under heat with the internals protected, the frame is cleaned, and the new part is bonded and clamped.
Home buttons and Touch ID components are transferred from your original — like Face ID on iPhone, they are paired to your board.
